Surely Parkinson's Law [0] - the work expands to fit the resources
available - is behind it all (something that Gall mentions in
Systemantics [1]). What I like to do is combine suckless [2] code with
modern processors. An Orange Pi Rockchip running something like
Fluxbox WM massively outperforms a i9 or AMD Ryzen struggling with
Windows. Everything is just instant.
