I have always said that reunification was not the best idea.
Terms and conditions. Reunification yes, but not by giving up all your advantages.
Just because the East Germans aren’t apathetic like the west and are actually willing to vote for change when things aren’t going well…
I didn’t see any mention of immigration in this article!? Does the author not realize why so many German people are unhappy with the government?
That is so funny about my German compatriots. They get furios over the peanuts immigrants are paid while 30 Billion cum-ex Euros (that’s the German billion btw) stolen from their precious tax contributions don’t register in their heads. Seems almost like a nation of idiots that could cheer for one larger than lifeless idiot and go to war shouting Sieg Heil over one minority they are told to hate. God bless them.
The rise in crime, housing costs, payments to illegal migrants, welfare abuse by migrants probably far out weighs 30 billion out of the huge german budget over how many years? I promise you German people notice the change from millions of illegal migrants that refuse to assimilate far more than some 1% change in tax revenue.
