Show HN: I Built VideoSnack – Repurpose Videos to Text Content with AI (videosnack.net)

I'm creating how-to videos for my other SAAS products and I built my own process where I would take the Youtube video transcript and add it to ChatGPT with a couple of optimized prompts to turn it into a tutorial like blog post. I would take the resulted text, add it to Google Docs where I would format it, add images, links and so on, and export it to my WordPress website with DocPress (a tool I built for that pupose).

Based on this experience I built VideoSnack, a Google Docs add-on (for now) that does all this with a couple of clicks. Just add the YouTube video, set your options and you get a ready to be published blog post or other types of content like newsletter, summary, tutorial, show notes and more.
