Ask HN: How to run Airtime social network on Ubuntu

I am on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS with FF or Chrome browser. The flash plugin that Airtime.com requires does not work on either of the browsers. Other flash sites are seen on both. What could be the problem? How to play Airtime on iPad?
