Out of 8 billion people, God chose me! ;)
We're probably at peak AI based on this statement.

Masa was right on BABA during a time when the chinese government went all out trying to create a middle class of consumers. Not much else since then beyond options gambling during covid.

Masa is the Cathie Woods of VC.

That's over the top enough to garner attention, but to be honest, that attitude isn't so far from the one exhibited by OpenAI and a few others.

Dude sounds like a cultist.
He (along with Jack Ma) is certainly among the luckiest people on Earth... I'm not sure if it's just consistently poor translation / English skills, but every time I hear either of those guys speak it's a visceral reminder that you don't need to be super smart to get super rich.
Jack Ma sounds odd at times but if you believe his story, he’s more self made than almost any of the US billionaires.

The title sounds reminiscent of Bill Hwang.

Not that hard if he's just trying to create something smarter than himself. I'd say we're there.
