Personal nit, I find the moving background very distracting, it's difficult to focus on the text. Consider disabling that, especially for users who have prefers-reduced-motion enabled.
I actually like the floating fortune cookies but they seem timid, as though you were unsure about keeping them so you made them faint and small almost to the point of almost erasing them. Maybe a single more visible polygon would communicate meaning better than several faded ones. Looks nice overall.
