Ask HN: AI Calendar Recommendation

I'm starting a busy period and want an AI calendar + to-do manager that:

- Is easy to schedule and edit my changing work shifts

- Integrates a smart to-do list

- Allows family to request time with me when free

- Preferably/optional: supports CalDav (my Android calendar is CalDav-based)

I currently use Fastmail due to privacy concerns with big tech, so I prefer a tool not tied to Google, Outlook, or Apple email. UseMotion.com and Reclaim.ai look great but only support major providers.

Budget: <$50/mo. I currently use Everdo for GTD and Obsidian for notes, but managing multiple apps is overwhelming. If big tech services offer better privacy than I think, feel free to recommend them too.

Any suggestions?

My concern is simply: privacy (not from Reclaim.ai, but Google and other Big tech).

I would hope there's a way to not use Gmail, and changing from my Fastmail.com at this point would be a burden on work colleagues, but I'd do it if the details of my family's life can somehow remain private.
