Some weeks back I posted about the system that I developed to distribute small tasks or questions to tons of people very quickly. As a demonstration I have now built this simple website that lets you gather preferences between two images from at least 100 real people in just a few minutes (no AI! I get humans by integrating with a few apps for a little bit of monetization - e.g. like Duolingo).
I built the system to help annotate data for AI, but I thought it would be cool to build a tool that anyone could use to get real human feedback - free, no signup!
Feel free to use it however you like, e.g. to figure out which outfit to wear or which image to post on your social media. You can upload two images, supply a criteria or question to rate them on, and in less than a minute responses will start flowing in. Due to some delays in the system, you are currently likely to see responses coming in also for some while after the first 100.
I am currently working on more audience targeting features. Let me know what kind of features you would think are cool, and let me know how you would like to use the tool!
Of course! As i introduced briefly above, I get humans by integrating with a few mobile apps for a little bit of monetization - e.g. apps similar to "Duolingo" or "GoodNovel". So I do not employ anyone directly. Right now there is otherwise not too much control over who it goes to. (It will likely be 100 new people every time) Better audience control is something that i would want to look into.
We would need to know who these real people are to know whether or not they are the right audience for our comparisons. Also, this sounds like the Mechanical Turk app - I haven't heard much talk about it in recent years, but I believe that is still running? If you are building a similar service, you'll need to be able to communicate the pros/cons of using your service vs. Amazon's. (With "free" being a clear differentiator, but free isn't always better.)
Thank you for the feedback!
Targeting and control over the audience is definitely something that I am looking into. Do you know which parameters/attributes you would like to know/control?
I tried the one you posted about a few weeks ago. This one is much easier to figure out, good work. Does this only get sent to people in the US (or English speaking)?
