The left and the right agree on an awful lot, particularly how to swing the pendulum to and fro. I think this is amplified by the internet and media, where we see echo chambers amplifying ideas (to the benefit of individual egos and the institutions which reify them) without relativity to personal histories and experiences which inform them. If you want to know a person, break bread, and see what you have to say with your mouths full.

I like the writing style and how it’s so succinct and basically bullet points.

Becoming an expat isn’t mentioned surprisingly, since this is tuned to Western societies.
