I like the idea and the presentation. However, it is not so useful for a Danish customer like me:
Besides the CO₂ emissions I also have to think about my energy bill. Going by the money alone, the best time for me to use electricity today is from 10h until before 17h (16:59:59) where the electricity costs around 0.20 €/kWh. Peak hours from 17-20 cost up to 0.32 €/kWh. So when Stromzeiten says I should use electricity from 10-12 and 15-20, that is only for pure idealist with enough money.
Moreover, at most power providers it is possible to subscribe to renewable electricity (from wind turbines or solar panels, mostly), where the carbon emissions play an insignificant rôle.
