Oh wow. So there might be an increased risk of cancer among people who care little enough about their health to eat a lot processed foods.

Who would have thought. Great study. Thanks for the hard work.

This is what we need.

"Processed foods are bad", which doesn't distinguish between different kinds of processing, food, additives, etc. is no use to anyone. Explaining which processes make food bad is actually actionable.

Here on Airstrip One food manufacturing companies can add all sorts of chemicals without putting them on the label.

So nobody really knows what is in the product.

These chemicals can legally be added because they are part of the production process and do not appear on the food label.

I personally do not eat anything that has been squirted out of a machine or stepped foot inside a factory. toooo risky..

I make everything myself, yoghurt, mayonnaise, sauerkraut, peanut butter, elderflower cordial and pickles. I make my own bread, pasta, cakes, biscuits and crumpets. I grind my own flour from organic rye grain. I even make my own beef burgers with organic beef.

I make my own jam. During the summer months I collect blackberries, Damsons, plums, black currants, blackberries, apples and elderflower from the countryside.

I pick wild garlic and go mushroom hunting in Surrey UK.

Joni Mitchell - Woodstock lyrics

We are stardust

We are golden

And we've got to get ourselves
