I am looking for a typeface to use for my new blog, and I am wondering what your favorite typefaces are. (Both for prose, and for code display).

I use Merriweather as I feel it looks legible

I use Merriweather in the Just Read app for the same reason.

Consolas for code. It's the font that Sublime Text uses.

I use jura ( https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Jura ) since it's futuristic and very readable.

Do you want a serif or sans serif for the body text?

For a serif, I think Crimson Pro is very nice.

For sans serif, I like Helvetica, but the original Helvetica might not be easily available outside of Apple’s operating systems.

Thanks! I do prefer sans-serif, since it feels more techy for some reason.

I've been experimenting with Libre Baskerville, but my go to in the past has always been Meriwether.
