In 1912, former president Theodore Roosevelt was shot in Milwaukee while giving a campaign speech, only a few blocks away from where the RNC is holding their convention starting today.
Absolutely guarantee you today’s RNC convention will contain many, many more references to their candidate getting a minor ear piercing than Teddy’s speech contained to a shot to the chest that left him with a bullet stuck in his body for the rest of his days.
