Ask HN: What are startups using for conference room video conference setup?

Now that we are almost non-remote, I am trying fit a video conferencing solution for one of our conference rooms.

Looks like it is expensive.

- $2000 for hardware

- $50/month for Zoom Rooms subscription

Is there a cheaper way to do this?

10 person room. Need a good audio on the table. Tracking camera is optional.

Can this be done using a Pi? Or an old laptop as hardware?
