We feel that Dell as a member of the Linux foundation should support Linux on all of it's desktop and laptop machines sold on it's American and Canadian websites as long as they are proven to be certified by Ubuntu engineers http://www.ubuntu.com/certification/ or by the Red Hat for the Fedora/RHEL distribution. Dell currently forces customers to buy Windows 7 and Microsoft Office if they want the latest and best Dell hardware on it's main website even if it is Ubuntu or Red Hat certified. This imposes an unfair "tax" on customers who just want the hardware alone or want it with a certified Linux distribution installed.
Make a difference and tell them to stop this unethical marketing practice now and to stop supporting a convicted abusive monopolist....Click on the title link above and get your voices heard. Only when we start making our voices heard will large OEM's like Dell stop supporting the Microsoft Cartel and stop trying to destroy Linux...
