"Purchase of Ticker NVDA worth $1,000,001 - $5,000,000 Transaction Date: 2024-06-26 Report Date: 2024-07-02"

Going long on AI seems to be a smart move.

Could be over sooner than she thought. No, AI is not going anywhere soon. But NVDAs monopoly on accelerator cards is much more fragile.
What is the benefit to society of Nancy Pelosi buying NVDA?
How long does it take for the information to get published? If the information is published after the transaction is done and the corresponding insider info got public there is no advantage here.
It's still making a political statement.
Members of congress shouldn't be allowed to trade
She isn't trading, her husband's financial advisor is trading and it's being reported as hers. (He's also losing their money on it and is just doing it to look busy.)

It's like how employees of a company donating to political campaigns gets reported as if the company itself did it.

Congress and immediate family then.
Well, blind trusts of immediate family.
Curious, Have you backtested the trades? -Thanks
Why do people hyper fixate on Nancy Pelosi's trades? She isn't even the senator that makes the most money off trading[0]. Seems like the person to follow around is Mark Green as Brian Higgins is no longer a congressman.

Its easy to hate on even though as far as I can tell her performance isn't particularly interesting.
It's political BS usually. I always point out to certain types that constantly harp on Pelosi that there are people that earn more than her with the (R) next to their name, but they scoff at it and say Pelosi=bad. I agree none of them should be trading, but the hypocrisy is boring at this point.
Perhaps it could be because around 5 people in world know who Mark Green is?
She is one of the most powerful people in the US and is involved in nearly every decision made in the house
Just buy VTSAX. Never trade anything.
