Show HN: My New Puzzle Game (shovemedia.com)

This is an idea I’ve been kicking around for a long time, and I decided to finally code it up. In the same way that Scrabble decomposes words into letters, what if there was a game that decomposed letters into sub-shapes? There’s a lot of directions this could go, and I’m still exploring the possibility space. Enjoy. Suggestions welcome. It doesn’t have a real name yet.

Nice idea and well implemented, but the puzzle seems too hard/abstract for me to understand. I can't really get a grasp of how to convert the first visual that looks like "ponauJ" into something that made sense of "Number two ___". Maybe if you could get the solution once or twice, it would be enough to teach me how to play it?
So far the feedback has been pretty unanimous that this puzzle is too hard. I don’t disagree, however (spoiler alert) it can be solved in 4 moves. The next puzzle (which I’m hoping to release today or tomorrow) will err on the side of being “too easy”.
It was a bit intimidating at first, but then I kind of saw what the word should be. Still not sure how to solve it, I kind of overcomplicated it and made a lot of moves. Read your comment about 4 moves and it became a lot clearer.
New puzzle just dropped, easier than the first
yes very easy :D looking forward to todays
Love it! Don’t believe the feedback about difficulty. It just takes a minute to get in the right frame of mind to solve the puzzles.
