Yikes, I'm worried that this goes a lot deeper than anyone thinks. I've never heard of de-icing fluids, it's always been rock salt, right? And I've also never heard of dust suppression fluids on Pennsylvania roads (how do these fluids work? How often do you need to reapply them?). I worry that these inventions were created specifically for this purpose.
