Ask HN: Companies that get called in to fix system catastrophes?

Not that I'm looking to hire one, but when a non-technical company like Southwest has a meltdown, and they can't fix it on their own, who do they call? Is it big consultancies or are there little A-Team boutiques that drop in?

I'm not sure what type of system failure you're envisaging that they a) can't fix themselves or b) fixed by whatever vendor rolled out whatever the issue is in. I've never heard of anyone calling anyone outside of a vendor that maybe did a rollout.

(Also find it amusing you called Southwest a non-technical company.)
