If Bitcoin is a currency, this would be currency manipulation on a very large scale. Good for those holding that form of cash.

If Bitcoin is a security, an investment vehicle, this is large scale market manipulation.

It just seems to counter the general tenor of USA free market ideology and practice.

So your position is any currency that is backed by gold is engaged in large-scale market manipulation?
You know, I hadn't thought of it in those terms, but the potential is definitely there for market manipulation types of events. Thanks for making me think a little harder!
Are these not things the US government does with USD?
Well if the dollar folds he's thinking the hoarded coin will suffice in global transactions. I didn't fully read through Project 2025 so, there might be something in there that he wants to enable.
If the "Economists" responsible for MMT theory, central bank monetary debasement, a global debt explosion, and rampant inflation in the face of decades of productivity increases that should have led to across the board price deflation are "Stumped" -- I'm thinking this is a good thing...
