Ask HN: Anyone else struggling to find a job?

Man, so I was laid off a month ago from a software engineering job. it's been brutal finding a new role. Has anyone else experienced the same?

I started working on my project and learned how hard it is to acquire users. So my days are spent on job search and nights on building something not may are using lol.

Lots of people in tech at the UK at the moment are struggling.

No. There’s just a lack of raw talent.

I got lucky, well, I found a job. But then nearly the entire company got laid off except for three of us engineers. I was only kept because I hadn’t been there more than 3 months.

Seems pretty brutal out there, but you might have to take a pay cut.
