Ask HN: Can we require reason/description for flagging submissions?

I find it frustrating when I see a submission is flagged, but it is not obvious spam or not obviously poorly written.

Requiring reasons/descriptions would be useful.

That just invites rule lawyering about "it's not really political" or whatever. Hacker News includes an element of chance, like poker. Even if you post "perfectly" you can still lose some hands. You have to take the L and move on.
