A few things:
Musk is, if nothing, the old school fail fast valley type. Fix it and do it again. Iterate.
I expect things to go wrong during peak events of things that are outside your core competency. This isn't a people problem it's a hardware and capacity problem. One that if your ok with "Fail fast" and "iterate" is great.
Musk mouth isn't doing him any good. He seems to be more keen on spouting nonsense about DDOS rather than owning the L and moving forward.
