A single one-month trial is enough for Disney to try and argue this.

It's not that I believe Disney will win this, but that they're even trying and are unconcerned about the negative pushback and press is what puzzles me.

Perhaps this will help underscore the importance of reading and understanding the terms and conditions of any product or service before clicking "ok".
Disney+ isn't considered a necessity. Now imagine this in the ToS for the Samsung Note 7 that kept spontaneously combusting. "Yeah we knowingly sold you a fire hazard because the cost of fixing it wasn't worth our time, get fucked." Now imagine that's your Tesla or your smart oven.

Forced arbitration shouldn't even be a thing.
