I still remember a few founders I knew back in 2020. We'd chat, and they'd tell me how they just raised 6-7 figures with such a half baked idea minimally functioning product. I could never quite understand how an angel or VC could've been duped into it. Really make me lose respect for some of these investors (though I know, not all are this dumb). As expected, these startups went nowhere and these founded went right back to their day job or to another half baked startup. These times are indeed over, and I salute that.
How much of it is just not having 0% loans anymore?

I blame the investors making bad bets based on FOMO.
