[–] mouse_ 1y ago ↗ $1M is now worth only 1 gold bar. The inherent value of the gold bar did not change. [–] danielschreber 1y ago ↗ Is it possible the value of a dollar and the value of a unit of physical gold both changed? [–] [dead] bongdudebrah 1y ago ↗ [dead]

[–] ahazred8ta 1y ago ↗ A standard bar of 400 troy ounces is 12.441 kg, 27.4 pounds. Prices are over $80 per gram. [–] jaffa2 1y ago ↗ if it's $2500 for 400 troy ounces = $1,000,000, then at 12.441KG = 12441g then the price per gram is only $0.20 which is way different $80 a gram, have I missed something.
