Now turn this around: Applications are now open for male, White or Asian founders and developers*. The reactions from the media would be swift, the condemnations of racism and misogyny would be manifold and the company would be called upon to publicly humiliate itself due to their grievous misjudgement. What's good for the goose is good for the gander so Apple should be called out for this blatantly discriminatory practice which also happens to go against a number of laws.
The bigger insult is the idea that anyone beholden to Apple's distribution terms could be considered an "entrepreneur" in the first place.
Yeah bud, keep telling yourself that you're headed down the road to success. Surely one day Apple will elevate you to competition with Big Tech... or Sherlock your business and shut you down next month.
Maybe Apple feels the need to prey on under-represented groups that have a harder time turning down their gracious "help".
