This is a (2023) post, it was locked then, there's nothing new.. I guess from the 'still' there's an outage currently and this is just a way to moan about it & create a sympathetic discussion?
So, Fly users, how are things now? I gave the platform a shot a long while back and found that the reliability fell far short of what I needed (probably a few months before this post). They still have some desirable features and I wouldn't mind giving it another look if the platform is (vastly) improved.
I see this is old but I still want to comment. It’s sorta weird they are blaming Hashicorp products that they are clearly using poorly. Oh, you have connectivity problems to the US-based Vault cluster from other regions? Why did you decide to just run a single Vault cluster? Even if you don’t want to pay for Enterprise, there are plenty of ways to sync data, etc.
I have to assume they made similarly confused choices with their Consul and Nomad setups as well. No wonder they are having issues.

I found their explanation about why they wrote Corrosion confusing since most Hashicorp services (including Consul) already support data sync via a gossip-based protocol (Serf).
Props for being open. As a tentative future customer, hearing you say "we're not reliable (yet)" isn't awesome, but it's infinitely better than what large cloud platforms do (that is, gaslight you into thinking nothing is wrong or it's your fault).
So all in all, fly.io is pulling ahead in my view :p
