nxs-backup v3.11.0 is out! It’s a tool that allows you to create backups, rotate them, and save them to local or external storage. In addition to file backups, various DBMSs, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis, are supported. The project code is distributed under the Apache 2.0 license.

Backups can be stored locally and remotely (S3, FTP, SSH, SMB, NFS, WebDAV) using various libraries. Backups can be performed not only for a specified period of time, but also with consideration of maintaining a specific number of backups. With the help of integration with monitoring, it is possible to obtain application metrics and work statuses in Prometheus format, for example: backup file size, correctness of backup collection, and backup collection time.

In the new version: - Updated dependencies to actual versions;

-Added ability to limit resource consumption: CPU, disk write speed and write speed to remote storage;

- Added rotateEnabled feature to disable backup rotation;

- Added the ability to display the list of created backups and sort them;

- More flexible URL generation for accessing S3 storage.

- Added skipping of foreign directories when rotating backups

- More options for a flexible URL formation for accessing S3 storage.

We’re looking forward to improving our tool so we’d love to see any feedback, contributions, or report any issues you encounter!
