Terahertz frequencies have an awful range, even worse than millimeter 5G.

It's brilliant marketing : you can advertise insane lab speeds, and sell way more antenna towers because decent coverage is harder to achieve.

Maybe I somehow missed it but when did the 5G revolution happen?
Pandemic. You missed it because of paranoia.

What we actually need is a NoG revolution where they keep a standard, give it national and worldwide interop and we move on from the numbers game.

As cool as it would be to go to Ikebukuro, I don't want to experience the successor to this.
