Ask HN: Best day of the week to announce startup/new website?

So, I've been working on a fun little side project for the past few months now and I think I'll be set to launch it by Friday (two days from now). I'm curious, though: would there a better day to announce the site to HN and bloggers? I was thinking that announcing a new startup/website on a Monday morning would allow the announcement to gain some traction throughout the week (while bloggers and writers are at work). I also was thinking that average folks tend to pay more attention to the news/online world during the week as opposed the weekend.
