Even so, given what little is shared, I strongly feel that this study should NOT have been halted without a very good reason. We know that a ketogenic diet is relevant for epilepsy, and that's sufficient motivation to study it for schizophrenia.
Do not trust opinions on the web, do your own research and aproach everything critically - fact based medicine, not voice of authority matter here.
I have been following the ketogenic diet for about 2 months and I feel significantly better than before starting it - this is not medical advice, each one of us will have to learn about this medical intervention and decide what's best for him or her.
It is not clear that you even know the difference between "a couple of articles on the web" and research studies, with me having posted the latter, and you having posted the former.
(I am not against the ketogenic diet for its neurological uses.)

I would encorage everyone to take a look at the metabolic mind site - https://www.metabolicmind.org/ (youtube channel - https://www.youtube.com/@metabolicmind).
Extensive presentation from Dr. Dom D'Agostino - https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=metabolic+mind+...

If non-technical, then YouTube videos and blog posts help them.
If semi-technical or mixed, then the press release or a news article is a good middle ground.
If technical, then the full-text of the study is good.
If technical and busy, then just the abstract of the study is good.
