Is that really any different than software?

Most people become developers because they want a lazy job absent of manual labor that pays the bills. Most people don’t enter software because they love writing software. Those that do love writing software do so as a hobby and hide it from their employer. It’s exceptionally rare that I can ever even talk about software at work as a software developer because creative ambitious ideas just result in anger or whining.

It would be amazing if only people with a passion for writing software became developers. In the meantime I will space out at work and keep my software personal and on my personal GitHub.
