Ask HN: How are you using LLMs to write academic papers?

I imagine that many academics and scientists struggle with the writing part of producing papers more than the research/science, at least I do. I see LLMs as a great tool for this to draft the prose.

What tools do you use for this?

I'm particularly interested in the document formats, i.e. Latex vs Markdown vs Typst ...
