More unclear by the hour: what is the point? If Israel was to launch a major offensive shortly after the explosions, that would make sense. Seems like flexing more than a strategic element. Impressive flexing, but once it stops things will return to a new unpleasant normal.
Is that a serious question? You are talking about two groups of people who are fighting because, while they both believe there is a magic man in the sky, they each believe he only loves their side and not the other. And you expect rationality?
My comment wasn't really so much about the nature of the steps being taken, as it was intended to display my anger, as someone who has been on this earth for 72 years, regarding the ongoing atrocities committed in the name of religion. If there is a loving god, there is zero doubt such a god would, first and foremost above anything else, detest every organized religion.
I had the same question - also wondering if the walkies were designed to trip after radio signal + first depression of the talk button. But it could also just be a larger explosive given walkie talkies are considerably larger.
