Ask HN: Preferred feedback mechanism?
Let's say you're using an app, or a website. There's a problem with the product, and you'd like to get the developer's attention to get it fixed.
What would be your preferred way to submit feedback to developers?

They are easy to drop in and have better reporting than email, but IMO their UX is just atrocious. Qualtrics is especially bad. If I see a Qualtrics feedback form I just immediately close it.
If you are really interested in offloading the underlying dev and management effort, consider using API based services around which to wrap your own experience.
I guess it comes down to respecting the users strong intent in providing feedback and showing what follow up action Has been taken on it.
