Did Coinbase sell my email? I received spam traced to them

Hello HN,

I usually use a unique `+` email suffix for each service I sign up for.

Today, I received an email to my `____+coinbase@gmail.com` containing what I consider spam. You can see a screenshot of the email here,

I'm wondering if other Coinbase users received the same email. It seems they want to use people's residential internet as a proxy for website scraping.

Did Coinbase sell my email? or is Coinbase somehow related to this company?
