Ask HN: Are there any archiver software able to keep working after reboot?

Inspired by 200TB of proof compressed to few tens of GB which needs 30k hours of CPU time. I can build that big NAS but can not be sure I have so much time with no reboots. Actually I have such obstructions with archives several orders of magnitude less of size.
