I am an SpinRite customer. I primarily purchased a copy to support Steve Gibson because I enjoy his SecurityNow podcast. I didn’t care or expect much from the tool.
I have experienced SpinRite improving the read time on some older SSDs I own. However, it’s rather difficult to get to run on newer hardware, though I believe Steve is working to or has made that a better experience in 6.1. I had to take drives out of a EFI-based machine to one that still had BIOS compatibility for success.
