I built Screen Recorded as a simple, browser-based screen recorder that doesn’t require any installation or sign-up. I plan to use it for quick screen captures, like product demos/tutorials, but I think it might be useful for all kinds of things.

I have been desperately looking for something like this. Browser APIs for this seem to have gotten a lot better and I don't get why I have to install something on my OS for this that crashes all the time. Excited to use it!
Yeah, browser APIs have become a lot better. Between bugs, different behaviour from one browser to another & unusual limitations, there's still a bunch of ways that they're not "all the way there" yet, but I expect that it will continue to improve.
Unfortunately the biggest limitation right now is that only desktop browsers are capable of this. Browser vendors seem to have held back the APIs from mobile versions of each browser. I think they're just being cautious about rolling out something that could be bad for users, though. Hopefully mobile browsers will catch up once the vendors are confident that users can be adequately informed about what's happening on their device.
