I don’t understand how a food delivery order resulted in a personal injury to the customer.
Two distinct aspects; the article tells you how (in paragraphs 7 + 12-14):

- Mr & Mrs McGinty were Uber passengers seriously injured in a crash in March 2022

- Uber asserted that Georgia McGinty had previously agreed to their updated ToU via a clickwrap confirmation by someone using Georgia McGinty’s UberEats account and phone on 8 Jan 2022. The McGintys' atty claims the couple does not recall ever seeing that, and hence that it must have been clicked by their [12yo] daughter, who was a minor at the time, while monitoring a food delivery from UberEats.

Seems extremely harsh chain of reasoning to me.
