Hey HN,

After finishing our masters degree, me and my friend dedicated a month to build an AI tool which makes studying engaging and exciting - Athena AI. We went with a very tight deadline, so that we can focus on the essential features and launch quickly, which I would say was a great decision.

During our studies, we realized we didn't have an ideal AI tool for prepping our exams - so we built Athena, which processes documents (PDFs, DOCx, slides, code and other textual formats) and provides you with flashcards, quizzes, an AI chat interface and customizable summaries.

Since universities and schools are starting during this time of the year, I hope this will be useful for some of you. We'd love to discuss the product and our journey in the comments!

I personally use this app to study and i must say there is very little i can say separates it from the perfect revision tool. Outstanding product, will be looking forward to future updates and projects by the creators

awesome tool. we use it with our kids, it makes learning and teaching easier and faster. they love it because it gives them more time to play and less to study :) looking forward for updates and improvements!

can this handle serious stuff like research papers, or is it more for basic tasks?

hey, yeah I would say it can handle more 'complex' material - tho for PDFs we have a limit of 50MB or 50 pages per PDF, due to costs of processing those. think most of the research papers fit in below 50 pages so you can try it out easily
