Ask HN: What certifications should I work on getting?

I am a full stack dev of 8 years. I am experienced in server admin, scripting, MERN/MEAN/LAMP stacks and some cpp/rust/go. for work i have been doing a lot of prompt engineering and have read quite a bit about it.

My main question is what certifications should i look into getting? whats worth a grain of salt any more?

I was thinking starting with AWS cloud practitioner. What would be some good ones after this?

Do you intend to work for a consulting shop who requires certs as part of the job? If so, get whatever they need you to have. If not, certs don't matter for jobs - just get whatever comes along with the training you personally need/want.
