Partisan political rhetoric, no reporting here IMO.
“Acting like a president should” includes telling desperate people that FEMA is not coming to help, despite being immediately contradicted by the Georgia governor and FEMA? It includes leading the party that regularly and recently votes to defund FEMA, opposes infrastructure projects, and denies the existence of climate change? It even includes restricting aid to blue areas solely for that reason, and accusing his opponents of doing the same despite a lack of, y’know, evidence of any kind?
The idea that our investment in Ukraine in any way impacts the operating readiness of FEMA is just plain ol’ Russian propaganda, and pretty obvious propaganda at that. How exactly would that work? I guess the uncited (other than Twitter assertions) claim about transformers is something, but beyond that, they’re two different buckets to say the least.
