Ask HN: What is the current state of the art for transcribing with diarization?

I see a lot of frameworks and apps that wrap whisper for transcripts, some effort around diarization by pyannote - but nothing that puts it really together. Also, most work seems to have stalled out in 2023.

Is there a good reason for this, or am I missing something?
