at first this looked kind of intersting, but upon reading it's just another low cost, closed-source piece of throw-away tech. Most of these companies go out of business within a few years and abandon their products; if it's open source at least we can keep using them.
$3 chipset in a $300 watch? I know there’s a lot more to the BOM but hard to get excited about this when the Apple Watch SE exists at the same price with better components, design, SDKs, support, etc.
