Overly negative - Maybe less than $1.5T, but certainly more than $10b, even if indirectly. It's not an apples to apples situation.

The summation of almost every tech company integrating AI features to boost engagement and sales, not to mention the AI girlfriends business alone. There are More lonely people out there than you might realize.

I suspect the actual dollar value of AI from "companionship" far outstrips the value created from the endless junk like Gemini summaries.

This makes me wonder, what will happen to all the data centers and more importantly the GPU's inside these data centers if and when the bubble bursts.

GPU are already the easiest parts to change or throw out, and i fear that they would all be turned into e-waste once demand for them goes down.

The fact nvidia banned the us of conusmer grade GPU in ai training doesnt bode well either once demand begins to fall down.

We dont even need to be in a bubble, everytine a hot new gpu is released, we couks see hundreds to thousands of A100's getting thrown out.
