Since many problems with devices arise after months of usage or even in different versions released in different countries, following review blogs and videos is not enough.
To have a more realistic up-to-date evaluation, any person who uses a device should be able to rate every component of such device and share this rating with others. These ratings can be updated or deleted.
To achieve this , I've built kebto.com
Kebto contains an extensive, up-to-date database for the specs of smartphones, smartwatches, tablets and dumb phones.
It allows any smart gadget user to rate all aspects of their own devices which would create a realistic evaluation of these devices based on extensive real world use.
These ratings can be shared, updated or deleted.
Users can also link to their reviews on other platforms for a more comprehensive view.
I have included some social media features: a share and follow button for now.
I have also built two additional features :
The first one is a device finder that is powerful and easy to use.
The second feature is a device comparison functionality, where you can compare up to 6 devices.
The devices you compare are saved locally on your browser, so you can return to them later, or use the comparison slots as memory for interesting devices.
