This material is to the climate change problem what Ozempic is to the human obesity problem; it allows good outcomes without having to be good.
It really depends on how cheap this is. We are pumping out a LOT of CO2, and what works in the lab fails >90% of the time as a product. I hope they have something with this but my skepticism is usually correct on these things.
The fact that it is expected to take 1 - 2 years before the material can be sent out into the field to be used again supports your skepticism.
