This is incredible! There’s just something so different about “live” TV compared to a bunch of videos you scroll through. Everything has been about control and overabundance, but there’s so much value in not having to always decide, of just sitting back and watching what comes to you. Probably the best way to discover new things too. How do you get around ads? Any possibility of an Apple TV app? Would be worth $10 easily, if not a monthly subscription.

Hi thanks for the feedback. I agree, one of the unintended consequences of having so much choice is that it's difficult to focus on 1 thing.

I will develop Android and iOS soon once I gauge demand - neither platforms make casting from app to TV straightforward :S

Built something like this a little while ago while iterating on the concept of AI finding relevant video content more generally. I loved it but wasn't maintaining it. Glad to have something I can just use now! Congrats on the launch

Thanks for feedback. Was you using openai api to curate a schedule of videos? Would be interested to know.

I've experimented with that aswell, check out moodplaylist.com. At the time the model (3.5) never really had a comprehensive list of video ids. Maybe this has changed with 4o.

This is truly fascinating. Taking a modern platform and overlaying archaic style appointment tv watching really transforms how it feels, which is kind of strange.

Thanks, even I was shocked when using it how much easier it is to watch a video without getting distracted.

It blows my mind that old tech is still superior in many ways.
